Nationals win Senate spot - Coalition control of Senate confirmed

News just in is that Barnaby Joyce has won the final Senate spot in Queensland. This is truly a sad day for those of us who believe it is dangerous to give complete control of the nation to one person - and in Howard's Government, there is no doubt that he has enough control of the Coalition that the power is in one person.
Things to expect:
- Full Telstra sale
- Removal of cross-media ownership laws
- Harsher erosion of civil rights in the name of fighting terror
- Less openness in Government, now that those pesky Senate inquiries can be dispensed with
- Dismantling of the last elements of the Industrial Relations Commission and the federal system of awards
- GST extended to everything, including food
- Removal of national unfair dismissal laws (luckily for most people the State laws are the ones that apply to them anyway).
What other things can people think of that were blocked by the Democrats and Greens in the last 8.5 years?
