Another sign the PM is worried about Bennelong.

In the 2004 election, with a high profile campaign by Andrew Wilkie for the Greens, the Prime Minister set up one campaign office - in the same building as his electorate office near the south-eastern tip of the electorate in Gladesville. This year he has already set up one in the heart of Eastwood, and this week another has sprung up in Epping, taking over the old campaign office for Greg Smith in the New South Wales election this year. That campaign office is right across the road from Epping railway station, and on a stretch of Beecroft road that funnels almost all traffic for the north-western section of the electorate.

The Liberal Party are known to do extensive private polling in Bennelong. If they are setting up campaign offices in multiple strategic locations, their private polling must be telling them that Howard is in serious trouble in his own seat.
