Pauline Hanson VI - The Final Nightmare
Pauline Hanson is back announcing that she is forming a new party called "Pauline's United Australia Party" in an effort to extend her series of unsuccessful runs for Parliament to five, having lost in the 1998 Federal Election, the 2001 Federal Election, the 2003 NSW Election, and the 2004 Federal Election. She is like a character from a bad horror series who keeps coming back even though you were sure she was dead at the end of the last movie.
Hanson claims she has formed a party because:
I am standing as a Senate candidate for Queensland and it was essential for me to have a party structure so I can have my name placed above the line on the ballot paper.
Somewhat misleading &emdash; all you need is one other person to be grouped with you to get an above-the-line square in the Federal election, and while it would be labelled only with a letter she would still be able to register preferences in the same way a party could. Peter Andren is standing for the Senate in New South Wales as an independent, and will be doing exactly this.
The choice of "United Australia Party" is strange since her policies remain divisive. No doubt she will claim that I have been misled into believing this by the media, however a brief look at Hanson's own web site provides sufficient evidence of the kinds of policies she wants to push.
"United Australia Party" is also the name of the forerunner of the Australian Democrats, which makes the choice doubly strange since her positions are virtually polar opposites to the Democrats' core values.
Pauline Hanson's back - Thank God
Pauline Hanson is divisive - I don't think so. It would seem when Paune Hanson states the word 'Australians' and means all Australians, those with their own agenda scream, 'Racist'.
What Troy Rollo calls the nightmare returns, is really, one person who will stand for all Australians, asking, no demanding, transparency in dealings and accountability across the board for every citizen of this country.
When you can't look after your own home and family, you don't let the someone else, albeit the politicians, invite a whole lot more people to share your home and your finances, and tell you to shut up and put up with it because they say so.
You don't do budgets worth millions and hand out the money to special groups of people, and then refuse to let all Australians know what was done with that money and where it went - and gee whiz you can't explain where most of those millions just disappeared to.
Transparency, Accountability, is what Pauline Hanson is about, she isn't there to represent the values of any other party - she is there to represent the values of the Australian People. As for colour - don't believe everything you read that is misquoted and used for the platforms of others - it is not going to matter who you are, what colour you are, or where you originally came from as an Australian you are going to become fodder for the politicians, you will sustain only them and become a non happening in this country, no voice no matter how you vote, no future, because there will be nothing left of Australia as we know it.
You won't be able to be proud to be an Australian no matter who you are, because that will be racist and discriminatory and you will as many of you already do live in poverty while the politicians that are supposed to represent you live the life of Riley. Most of Australia will be sold off and as for the future for all Australians - well as things stand, do we really have a future?
Pauline Hanson want's to undo the downhill slide this country has taken in the last fifty years, but she can't do it without the people being behind her, and she can't do it while the Government that is in power divides and conquers the people with finances and refusal to show any accountability to the Australian People who they are supposed to represent on any issue - letting us know quite firmly they don't have to be accountable to we the people.
So it doesn't matter what your race, creed, or background is, as an Australian you will so become a nice little drone to work and live and die supplying life styles for those who are supposed to represent the very people those parasites live off.
Pauline Hanson might be a nightmare, but she isn't the people's nightmare, she is the coming nightmare of all politicians who don't represent the people, or this country and our future.
Ms Hanson's words or your?
"Transparency and Accountability"? I did look at Ms Hanson's Political Messages on her web site. She does not mention Transparency and only mentions Accountability in relation to foreign doctors. Perhaps if that is what Ms Hanson is "about" she should say so. However I also recall it took the courts to find that transparency in One Nation.
I was somewhat horrified to find one link posted in her political messages as a "Courageous Arab Muslim Woman..." only to find the banner at the top of the page that proudly referred to the protagonist as "Not a Christian, Not a Jew, Not a Muslim..."
Half truth is more dissembling and harmful that outright lies.
Unfortunately it also also more successful in the hands of the dishonest.
